Projects
2024 Manor Community 5K
On June 8, 2024, the first Annual Manor Community Day & 5K took place with support from the City of Manor. Partnering with the City extended our reach and resources. We established a Kids1K to involve children in the event. Various vendors were present to promote accessibility and awareness of different wellness programs available. The event featured a DJ, Sno Cone Truck, Police Department Community Van, basketball goals, and more. Children received finisher medals, and we anticipate their return to earn more. Nine individuals enrolled in the Travis County MAP program to receive free medical insurance as a result of participating in the run, and they also received shirts and finisher medals.

RRISD Community Wellness Workshop
On May 8, 2024, we held a wellness workshop at the Round Rock Opportunity Center to teach low-income families how to live healthier on a budget. The Black Men’s Health Clinic and Contigo Wellness contributed. Both kids and parents attended, gaining insights into affordably prioritizing their health.

2023 Veterans Day 5K
In November 2023, we successfully organized our annual Veterans Day 5K in Hutto. Over the years, this event has experienced significant growth since its inception in 2016, and we take great pride in honoring our Veterans. The 5K serves as a meaningful tribute to the service rendered to both the nation and the local community. Not only do we celebrate and acknowledge our Veterans, but we also contribute to the welfare of those in need by collecting toys for Toys for Tots, amassing three large boxes, and gathering 350 pounds of food for donation to the Round Rock Area Serving Center. The event featured the presentation of the nation's colors by the Hutto JROTC, and we welcomed a remarkable turnout of 170 runners.

2023 Manor Community 5K
On June , 2023, EOH hosted the inaugural Manor Community 5K. The event was a huge success with almost 140 walkers/runners, 15 health and wellness vendors, Travis County Emergency Services District 12, & the Mayor of Manor. Our goal was to give low income families an experience which would change their attitude towards living a healthy lifestyle and provide them with access to wellness resources such as the opportunity to schedule mammograms and Sickle Cell Screenings. We were also able to waive fees for participants of the Travis County Medical Access Program (MAP). Mission accomplished.

THE 2022 Veterans Day 5K
Every year we host our annual Veterans Day 5K in the city of Hutto. Our 2022 Veterans Day 5K was a huge success.
